Low Fossil Vacation

As most years my family and I went sailing in the archipelago of Bohuslän. For us it is the ideal vacation staying close to the immensely beautiful coast.

We started of with some days trying to do some windsurfing. Great fun although some further training would be useful.

We are fortunate to have a small yacht, together with my father. The next two weeks we had a really warm period with lots of sun, perfect for relaxation, snorkelling and long evening with friends and family. I have chosen some photos that give a flavour of the Swedish summer.

Evening with friends at the small island of Hälsön.

Sunset at Galgbergsuddens lighthouse in Mollösund.

 Raspberries for free!
A positive side effect of sailing and windsurfing is the low carbon footprint. Since I have pathologic interest in fuel consumption tracking, I can report that we used 18 litre of diesel for some 25 days on the sea with 3 to 7 persons on board.
